This is a really great looking Monterey 282 - a real head turner!
As I stepped onto her large swim platform and entered her cockpit, I felt a real "wow" factor - lovely and clean, nice decking and great upholstery! There is plenty of room for entertainment, a wet bar and her helm position is extremely well equipped.
Access to her engines is very easy too - no need to strip cushions and frames - just one simple lift - a really great design.

This particular Monterey 265 is not only the best of its kind that is currently for sale, I would argue it is the best example anywhere.
She has been fully updated and refitted. Where to start.....
The engine was installed brand new in 2010. However, it was only used very lightly thereafter. In 2021 a full refit commenced with no expense spared. Over 12 months the engine was recommissioned and fully serviced by a Mercuiser main dealer. Apart from the normal oils and filters, all the belts, water pumps and fuel pump were replaced. This 1993 twin-diesel SeaRay Sundancer certainly does not show its age. I can find little wear and tear. It does appear that it has had attentive care from knowledgable owners. All of the surfaces are clean and attractive.
