The Macgregor 26M is the final version of these ever-popular trailer sailers (trailer not included), offering a useful combination of sailing, high-speed motoring (can pull a skier), spacious open plan accommodation and built-in solid foam buoyancy for added safety. A water ballast system affords good sailing ability for their type but keeps the trailing weight low, making them easily towed behind most family saloons if desired (no trailer included or available), they are a truly versatile and economical family boat. Sowenna has a good inventory including marine toilet with holding tank, Yamaha 50hp 4-stroke outboard, Standard Horizon GPS chartplotter, and was epoxy coated beneath the waterline from new, an important and often overlooked option!

White GRP hull and superstructure with black style stripes and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Water ballast system with lifting keel (521Kg water ballast and 136Kg permanent ballast) for ease of launching and trailing. Lifting centreboard operated by line led aft to cockpit. Originally used as a demonstrator by the main UK importers, Sowenna was purchased by her current owners from the importer in 2012. Since then she has wintered ashore every season, and has been loved and enjoyed! Unfortunately, a combination of ill health and lack of crew now means that use will be limited so she needs to go to a new home for new adventures.
