Here we have a light project Elysian 27. I have put the year as 1970 but as yet cannot confirm the actual year. Generally, the boat is in good condition to my eye with just a couple of small gouges in the bow gelcoat that would benefit from filling but these are not essential work. The boat has been out of the water for many months now. I am told by the vendor that she ran just fine but cannot verify this. Elysian 27 being offered as a "Light Project". By this we are saying that externally she would benefit from having the coach roof attended to (inside it appears to be dry and solid but externally it lets the boat down in terms of cosmetically). Similarly the side decks and foredeck would benefit from a coat of grey non slip deck paint. The topsides are in original gelcoat and would polish up quite well whereas the hull has been painted and (in my opinion) may need a refresh. Here we have a project Broom Capricorn speed boat with a V8 engine. The boat has been owned for many years by the vendor but following one partner passing away the boat has been left and not looked at. The boat was put back into service a few years back but the flywheel on the engine needs changing as the starter teeth wont mesh to turn the motor over, however, the motor ran fine and the boat was driven on the river several time 2-3 years back.
