"Cygnet" is a beautiful, wooden BB11 one-design racing/cruising dayboat. She was designed and built in Norway by Bjorge Bringsvaerd in the 1950s, and is fast and dry, having an easily driven and particularly seaworthy hull form. 'Soonah' is a wooden, racing dayboat of the Loch Long One Design class, and is sail no. 47. She was built in 1959 by Alexander Robertson & Co. of Sandbank, on the southern shore of the Holy Loch. Robertson built boats to a very high standard, and 'Soonah' is no exception, with a beautiful varnished mahogany hull. The current owner bought her in Scotland in 1990 and brought her down to Aldeburgh, where she is now. 'Mosquito', Loch Long One Design racing day-boat no. 135, was commissioned by the current owner to be built at the International Boat Building College in Lowestoft. Built in 1991 she was the first new Loch Long One Design boat to be built since building in Scotland stopped in 1966. She was built to a very high standard, with a varnished hull, laid deck, and curved cockpit coaming. 'Giselle' is a Jaguar 25, built in 1986 of GRP construction. She has twin bilge keels (ideal for East Coast sailing), and a Volvo diesel 9HP engine with 10-gallon fuel tank. She has a masthead bermudan rig with a fully battened mainsail (Crusader 2000), furling genoa (2000). The mast, rig and furling gear were all replaced in 1994, and the saildrive seal replaced in 2007.
