Nimbus 27 Coupe - 1993. This Swedish boat builder is well known for their superior build quality and this cruiser is in very good condition having been well maintained and much improved by the current owner. The boat is ready to go for the Spring season having just had a major service, anti-foul, anodes, cutlass bearing and stern gland replacement. The single Volvo Penta TAMD 31 engine has also been much upgraded since 2019, (See list below) and has proved to be reliable and easy to start every time. Engine hours are approx 2,500. The 27 Coupe is a semi-displacement hull and is very easy to handle at sea, and for mooring and berthing, having the benefit of a bow thruster. The diesel engine is very economical and the fuel tanks have been cleaned and new inspection hatches installed in 2020. The boat draws just 90cm so can be anchored close to shore. Anchor, chain and warps in locker.

Instruments include a Garmin Chart Plotter bought in 2019, a new VHF Standard Horizon Explorer Radio 2019, Raymarine Radar and Hummingbird Depth Sounder. Also new Pioneer CD/Radio entertainment system. Also fitted is an Autohelm and speed log.

Currently ashore at Emsworth, near Portsmouth having been cleared of owners personal items and valeted. Winter Berthing to April 2026 included in the price. Hull was Slurry Blasted by Symblast in 2022 and new epoxy applied spring 2023. Hull inspection available by arrangement and whilst ashore.

This boat is perfect for anything from a day trip to long cruises and holidays. She is comfortable and homely and has a large forward cabin with double berth with new mattress topper as well as a spacious single berth and separate heads with sink H&C and large storage. Galley includes sink with H&C water, oven, 2 ring Calor Gas hob, and fridge with ice box. All interior cushions have been reupholstered in forward cabin, new cockpit seat pads and removable covers in main saloon. New Lewmar hatch fitted in forward cabin. The two large sunroof panels in main saloon slide to open and provide plenty of light and also fresh air on warmer days. Detachable cover included for sunroofs. New carpets were made (removable) and fitted 2024. Rear pleated blinds have been fitted to sliding doors to cockpit for privacy. Swim shower is fitted to transom for use on rear platform (H&C).
