The engines and legs have been serviced the whole hull has been polished and all windows, portholes and deck hatches have been replaced also a new bimini and cockpit tent. The whole interior has been completely refurbished.

Southern Promise is a superbly built classic Trawler Yacht of which over 90 vessels have been built in the Ocean Alexander boatyard in Taiwan. She is UK registered, safety coded and has a Portuguese tourist licence for charter for up to 12 guests. Most of the yachts are still operating on the American Pacific coast where they are accepted as one of the best for heavy seas and long passages. This is reflected in their high values. Southern Promise has undergone major improvements in the last few years including new decks, new galley, heads, cabins and saloon. Professional fitted-out hull extention like a lot of other sisterships.
Her enormous deck space, more than most 80 footers, and spacious cabins make her an ideal live-aboard, passage maker or charter vessel. She is re-engined in 1996 with two new Volvo Penta 316 hp. They only ran a 1000 hours.
