Lovely clinker built classic launch for sale. Totally refitted and re-launched spring 2008 and sparingly used two seasons. Excellent order throughout. Very roomy boat easily seating 8, safe, dry and stable. Very seaworthy and utterly reliable. Volvo diesel engine, stainless steel tank, new engineering. All new deck fittings, new all-round fenders, new batteries, new canvas work, new all-over winter cover. Loose gear.
This a much admired launch perfect for good times afloat and only sparingly used during her first two seasons since extensive re-fit. Regrettably lack of time forces sale. Professionally services and maintained.

Tidemaster 21 open launch. This is a fantastic launch that has an enormous amount of room in it. It has the traditional look of being clinker built but is made of fibreglass construction so she is virtually maintenance free. She has a brand new Nanni 13HP diesel engine that has done very low hours. She is ultra economical. I would normally run her for about £100 per year and I use her most weekends. She is large and very safe and will go for miles and miles without any issue at all. She is great in open water or just cruising the creeks. She has an automatic bilge pump and 2 X 12 volt batteries. The batteries are kept fully charged by 2 X solar panels, however if there is no sun there is a wind generator to keep them topped up. So…whether you use her every weekend or leave her for say six weeks you know you never need to worry about heavy rain and the potential flooding of the boat. She has wheel steering and a locker up front for storage. |

A superb example of a high spec 18ft Pilot. Three cylinder 20hp Beta Marine diesel engine with only 250 hours. Four seats/lockers, with all fenders/warps/anchor and even a small inflatable tender.
Inside the forward cuddy is a wheel steering station, complete with throttle control. There is also a Hummingbird fishfinder/depth guage.
Aft there is another throttle control for when you are steering with the tiller. The hull is a lovely mid blue and although it has a few marks and scratches, there is nothing that wouldn't polish out (I just haven't had a chance to do it yet).
Below the waterline was coated from new with Coppercoat, so no need for antifouling.
All in all, this is a fantastic boat and a great sadness to be selling - with the 20hp motor she runs fast and quietly and the cuddy gives great cover and storage for a day on the water. She can be viewed on her mooring in Salcombe, Devon and the mooring is included in the price if required. until the 31st October. |
