This beautiful vessel has been designed, constructed and maintained to a high standard and can navigate rivers, estuary, inland and broad waterways and coastal waterways in fine weather.
The boat compromises of raised forward deck, transom stern, keel, carvel bottom hull with tumble home, flared stern and arranged with aft well, galley, saloon, wheel house / engine space, cabin forward toilet and chain locker.
The engine heads have been reconditioned and the vessel has been re painted and re varnished.
This boat must sell due to an impending new arrival! so we will accept resonable offers, there is also an option of a permanent mooring on the River avon nr Keynsham, this must be agreed with the landlord. |

Im Selling my beautiful motor boat. I have owned Osprey for 7 years and have been restoring her to her original condition. She is a 1962 Storebro Bergo manufactured in Sweden. Hand-built by top craftsman in mahogany on oak frames. She really is a one off and looks just stunning on the river or coastal cruising, a real head turner. She has recently had a new coach roof hand built by Michael Dennett, classic boat Builder of Laleham Boatyard. Over the winter period She has had a complete top deck back to wood exterior restoration. She has a good quality full canopy, Tornaux and a full heavy duty winter canvas. She has been winter stored on the hard all her life. Full survey available 2008 by John Toughs, Toughs boat yard, all recommended work carried out and NEW boat safety certificate "Aug2009" she is ready for many years of boating. An appreciating classic motor launch and a real pleasure to own. |

'Henrietta' is a charming characterful wooden boat built in the 1950's. She is 24 foot by 6 foot 10". About 6 foot headroom. She has a twin diesae Lister engine that is in good condition. The internal fittings of the boat are in wood. Externally she is painted green and yellow. She has a cabin which sleeps two people. The steering is in the middle of the boat, complete with a proper steering wheel and a seat to sit on. The steering section is covered by a removeable structure. When the waether is nice this removes easily and folds flat. In the main cabin are two more sleeping areas and a galley kitchen with storage, sink and a cooker. The final area is the toilet area with a working Porta Potti and sink. There is plenty of storage space onboard.
She was last out of the water in 2008. Boat safety certificate passed in 2008 - next due in 2012.

Henrietta is currently mored at the Aylesbury Basin. The sucessful buyer can apply for a mooring at the basin - we found it easy to get a mooring.
Henrietta is sold as seen - no major work required. being sold sadly due to health reasons - hope she goes to a good home.
